Platinum recording artist and CMA Male Vocalist of the Year nominee Cody Johnson will launch the first leg of his 2024 tour on January 19, 2024, The Leather Tour is aptly named after his soon-to-be released album Leather due out November 3, 2023.
“The Leather Tour” is coming to Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN on Friday, February 2nd , 2024. Special guests include Justin Moore and Dillon Carmichael. Tickets on sale Friday Oct. 6th at Ticketmaster.com.
Known for his explosive live shows and electrifying stage presence Cody has established a following of passionately loyal fans who regularly sell out shows across the country. The Tennessean claimed, “Cody Johnson showcases rising mastery of his country craft. When decent will no longer cut the mustard, and excellence makes you an award-winner, then ‘burgeoning mastery of the craft’ becomes the standard that defines why and how you achieve your following accomplishments.” That performance is included among the 40 concerts Cody sold-out in 2022.
Cody’s new studio album Leather is the follow up to his 2019 Ain’t Nothin’ To It studio album and 2021’s Human The Double Album. His major label catalog also includes Cody Johnson & The Rockin’ CJB Live and A Cody Johnson Christmas.
About Cody Johnson:
Cody Johnson has established a following of passionately loyal fans who regularly sell out shows across the country. MusicRow predicted Cody “just might be the future of real country music,” with four celebrated albums – Ain’t Nothin’ To It, Human The Double Album, A Cody Johnson Christmas and Cody Johnson & The Rockin’ CJB Live, his highly successful award-winning feature-length documentary “Dear Rodeo: The Cody Johnson Story,” his double platinum-selling, Grammy winning (“Country Song of The Year”) twoweek #1 single “’Til You Can’t”, 17 career RIAA certifications, a Pandora Billionaire Award, and more. In BOTH 2021 and 2022 Cody increased his global career streams by One Billion, with a current career tally over 5 billion global streams.
His numerous industry honors include recognition as a CMT Artist of The Year, three CMT Music Awards wins, two CMA Awards and being named “Best New Country Artist” at the iHeart Music Awards. His television appearances have entertained fans on the Today Show, the Kelly Clarkson Show and the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in addition to outstanding live tv performances at the iHeart Music Awards, the ACM Awards, CMA Awards, CMT Giants honoring Vince Gill, and the CMT Artist of the Year Special. This spring, Cody’s stellar 2023 CMT Music Awards performances included hit “Human” and featured him as a lead vocalist on a show-stopping all-star tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd featuring a stacked lineup of music royalty including Cody, Billy Gibbons, Chuck Leavell, Paul Rodgers, Slash & Warren Haynes, alongside LeAnn Rimes and Wynonna Judd. This summer Cody and Reba McEntire delivered a knock-out rendition of “Whoever’s in New England” on the CMA Fest television special.
About Justin Moore:
Multi-PLATINUM hitmaker Justin Moore has built a loyal following over the past decade with his traditional country sound and captivating live shows. The Arkansas-native just notched his 12th No. 1 with “You, Me, and Whiskey,” a smoldering duet with Priscilla Block. Over his 10+ year career, Moore’s No. 1 hits have included “Point at You,” “Lettin’ The Night Roll” “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away,” “Small Town USA” and “Till My Last Day,” as well as PLATINUM-certified albums and singles. The Valory Music Co. recording artist has earned multiple ACM, ACA, People’s Choice, and ACC Awards nominations, as well as an ACM Award win. In addition to multiple festivals, headline shows and select direct-support dates, Moore has also been busy hosting his Justin Moore Podcast sponsored by Bobcat with tour manager JR, interviewing guests such as Oscar award-winning actor Matthew McConaughey; Country stars Tracy Lawrence, Jon Pardi, Brantley Gilbert; wrestling champion Diamond Dallas Page and ESPN’s Marty Smith. He also recently took on a new role as co-host on 103.7 The Buzz's morning drive-time sports talk show, "Morning Mayhem," where he spends his weekday mornings dishing out his never-ending sports knowledge on-air. About Dillon Carmichael:
Hailed by Rolling Stone as “country music’s most convincing young star since Stapleton,” Dillon Carmichael isn’t just an artist; he’s a force of nature. Born and raised in Burgin, Kentucky, the 6’4” troubadour first rose to fame in 2018 on the strength of his critically acclaimed Riser House debut, the Dave Cobb-produced Hell On An Angel, which prompted NPR to praise his “deep holler” and the New York Times to declare that his voice moves “with the heft and certainty of a tractor trailer.” Dates with everyone from Lynyrd Skynyrd and Trace Adkins to Dwight Yoakam and Justin Moore followed, as did festival appearances from Faster Horses to Tortuga and Artist To Watch nods from the likes of Billboard, Rolling Stone, Pandora, and more. Carmichael followed it up in 2021 with Son Of A, another neo-traditional gem that’s racked up more than 50 million streams across platforms (Carmichael’s catalog boasts more than 160 million streams collectively) and yielded similarly glowing reviews for its feel-good mix of wry humor and raw heart. His latest, rowdy single, ‘Drinkin’ Problems,’ which was produced by Jon Pardi, is currently climbing the country radio charts, while Carmichael remains busy on the road, headlining his ‘Son Of A’ Tour and opening for the likes of Brooks & Dunn, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Brothers Osborne and more throughout 2023.
